One of the most underrated and powerful lifehacks I’ve discovered is simply this: embrace the weather
Here in the UK it’s often grey and wet — but that’s hardly a surprise, is it? It’s part of the deal we sign up for by living here. Yet I constantly see people frustrated by something they can’t control.
Instead, I reframe it.
When it’s cold, rainy, and overcast, I learn to appreciate it — because when the sun finally appears, it feels that much better.
I teach this to my son. Now we both love the rain. We play football in it and say the plants are getting a drink.
So many people let the weather dictate their mood. But when you stop resisting it and start accepting it, even enjoying it, you realise something powerful:
Peace often comes from embracing what you cannot change.
